Graham specialises in mathematics, IT, education and theology.
He also regularly translates surveys, certificates (marriage, birth), legal documents (divorce documents, police letters), business documents (company registrations, standards testing) and general correspondence.

Graham has recently retired from teaching Mathematics and IT to 11-18 year olds. For four years his teaching career took him to East Malaysia where he learnt, taught, preached and did day to day business in Malay (Bahasa Malaysia). While there he was Principal of the Advanced Bible School in Lawas, where he lectured daily in Malay. Several of the textbooks and the translation of the Bible used were Indonesian and there was regular contact with Indonesians from the southern part of Borneo.
A month in Malaysia in 2011 included two weeks intensive Malay study at Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang at the end of which he was a delegate at the Seminar on Translation of South East Asian Languages (TranSEAL) 2011.
